LOVIE BELL

Sergeant First Class Lovie Bell enlisted into the United States Army in 1994 and attended Basic Training and Advance Individual Training at Ft Jackson as a 42A (Human Resources Specialist.)

MILITARY SERVICES:

Her initial assignment was to HHC 510th PSB on Tompins BKS in Schwetzingen, Germany, and then to HHC, V CORPS on Sullivan BKS in Mannheim, Germany. Sergeant First Class Bell then changed her job to Motor Transportation SPC and was assigned to 704th Division Support BN as the Section Sergeant in Ft Hood, TX, until 2000. She left active duty briefly to serve in the US Army Reserves, where she worked as a Human Resources SPC for the 3rd CORPS Support Command in Wiesbaden, Germany, from 2000-2004. 

DUTY ASSIGNMENTS INCLUDES:

Infantry team leader up to Infantry Platoon Sergeant and acting First Sergeant Administrative Specialist 75 Bravo for approximately three years while serving as a Sergeant E5 Unit Training NCO converted to Unit Readiness NCO at the rank of SFC/E7. Reassigned as Master Sergeant and served as an Assistant Inspector General for four years

Battalion Operations Sergeant Major 182nd Infantry Battalion. She was mobilized from 2003-2004 with the same unit in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq and Germany as an aide to the RCG. After returning from Germany, she was reassigned as a 79R (Recruiter) and stationed with New England Recruiting BN, Boston recruiting company, from 2005 to 2011. She was then assigned to Miami Recruiting BN from 2011 to 2013 to Albany Recruiting BN, Worcester Recruiting Center from 2013 to 2016, Boston Medical Recruiting Station, and finally, her current assignment to Dallas BN. 

DEPLOYMENTSAND AWARDS:

She was mobilized from 2003-2004 with the same unit in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq and Germany as an aide to the RCG.

Sergeant First Class Bells’ awards include the MSM (2nd award), Air Medal, ARCOM (5th award), Army Achievement Medal (6th award), Army Superior Unit Award (2nd award), Army Good Conduct Medal (9th award), Army Reserve Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal NCO Professional Development Ribbon (3rd award), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd award), Army Reserve Component Overseas Training Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal (2nd award), Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M Device, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Gold Recruiters Badge w/3 sapphires, Silver Recruiter Badge, Recruiter Ring, the Glen E. Morrell Medalion and Ring, Driver and Mechanic Badge w/Driver-Wheeled Vehicle clasp, and the US Army Recruiter Badge (Basic.) 
Sergeant First Class Bell is an active Alpha Gamma Xi Military Sorority member and loves to volunteer in the community. She is the mother of 1 daughter (Kimberly), who recently joined the US Navy as a Healthcare Administration Officer.  

MILITARY EDUCATION:

Sergeant First Class Bells’ military education includes Warrior Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, Sharp Course, UPL course, US Army Recruiter Course, and the Station Commander Course. Sergeant First Class Bell holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Endicott College. 

CIVILIAN EDUCATION:

Sergeant First Class Bell holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Endicott College.
